Since I just love a crochet challenge I searched high and low for a picture and below is what I came up with for a pattern. It is based on multiples of 6 (or chain desired length of chain making sure it is divisable by the number 6) 2 Double Treble Crochet cluster(2 dtr c) yo 3 times insert into desired stitch, yo pull thru, yo pull thru 2 loops, yo pull thru 2 loops, yo pull thru 2 loops, yo 3 times insert hook into same spot, yo pull thru, yo pull thru 2 loops, yo pull thru 2 loops, yo pull thru 3 loops More Detailed Description: Yo over 3 times, insert hook into designated stitch, yo pull thru designated stitch. You now have 5 loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 4loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 3 loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 2 loops on your hook, yo 3 times insert hook into same stitch, yo pull thru designated stitch. You now have 6 loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 5 loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 4 loops on your hook, yo pull thru 2, now have 3 loops on your hook, yo pull thru the 3 loops on your hook.

Beg Row: For example chain 180, ch 6 more (counts as first dtr c ) 2 dtr cluster in 6th chain from hook, *skip next 5 chains, sc in next ch, ch 5, 2 dtr cluster in same stitch as sc just made*, repeat from * to *across end with skip next 5 chain sc in last chain turn. Row 2: ch 5, 2 dtr c in same spot as previous rows last sc, ch 1 *2 dtr c in next sc, ch 5 sc in same sc, ch 5, 2 dtr c, ch 1 * (you put everything in between the *’s into the sc that was made in the beg row) end with a 3 dtr c (work same as 2 dtr c except you will end with pull thru last 4 loops on your hook)in last sc turn. Row 3: sl st over to ch 1, ch 1 sc in same space, *ch 5, 2 dtr c in same space, sc in next ch 1 space * repeat from * to * across ending with sc in last ch 1 space. Below are pictures starting from left to right of row 1, row 2, and row 3

Repeat rows 2 and 3 for pattern, you will have 1 less dtr c on each end of Row 2 thus creating the triangle shape. If you prefer to have your shawl without the point , just repeat rows 2 and 3 for approximately 24 rows, making sure to end with row 3. I recommend Crochet Kim for a great tip on making fringe to attach to your shawl(scroll down to bottom of her page). Let’s see your shawls!!!!! ****If you are having trouble following my pattern, please see Hass Designs it may be easier to follow and the design is very similar.

©CrochetQueen Do not copy or distribute in any form without consent

[23
21,28
post-756","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-crochet-patterns","tag-crochet","tag-patterns
["GET
