This weeks lessons will show you 2 more methods from the inside out that come in handy for making triangles. The following is how to make the one on the left. To begin: ch 4, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in next ch, 2 sc in last ch, ch 1 turn Row 1: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn Row 2: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 3 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn Row 3: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn Row 4: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 5 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn Repeat row 4 for desired length having one more sc between increases for each additional row (row 5 will have 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next 6 sc etc.) The one on the right: To Begin: ch 4 join to form a ring Row 1: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 2 dc in ring, ch 3, 3 dc in ring, ch 3 , 3 dc in ring, ch 3 join to top of beginning ch 3, do not turn. Row 2: ch 3(counts a s 1st dc), dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, dc in next 3 dc) twice, 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, join to top of beginning ch 3 do not turn. Row 3: ch 3(counts a s 1st dc), dc in next 4 dc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, dc in next 5 dc) twice, 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, join to top of beginning ch 3 do not turn. Row 4: ch 3(counts a s 1st dc), dc in next 6 dc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, dc in next 7 dc) twice, 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, join to top of beginning ch 3 do not turn. Repeat row 4 for desired length having 2 more dc between ch 3 spaces (row 6 will have 9 dc between ch 3 spaces etc.) Both of these triangles make perfect bra, bikini, or halter-tops because of the shaping. Use up your scraps and make into a purse, tote bag, or even an afghan. Sew some on the bottom of a t shirt for an interesting edging. Let me know what you are making with your triangles.

© CrochetQueen Do not copy or distribute in any form without consent

[25
21,22,39
post-841","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-crochet-techniques","tag-crochet","tag-lessons","tag-techniques
["GET
