One tr forms a popcorn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HAT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting at center top, ch 6. Join with a sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: In ring make (sc, tr) 6 times. Join with sl st to first sc- 12 sts. 2nd rnd: Ch 1, in the joining and in each st around make sc and tr. Join as before-24 sts. 3rd rnd: Ch 4 to count as first tr, sc in next tr, * tr in next sc, sc in next tr. Repeat from * around. Join to top of ch-4. 4th rnd: Ch 1, sc in first st, * tr in next sc, (sc and tr in next st) twice-an inc set made; sc in next tr. Repeat from * around. Join-36 sts. NOTE: Hereafter inc 1 st in a tr and 1 st in next sc. 5th rnd: Repeat 3rd rnd. 6th rnd: Ch 1, sc in joining, tr in next sc, * sc in next tr, tr in next sc. Repeat from * around, making 6 inc sets evenly spaced. Repeat 3rd and 6th rnds alternately for pattern until there are 132 sts on rnd. Work even without increasing until piece measures 6 1\/2 inches from center top, ending with 3rd rnd. Next rnd: Work in pattern over first 62 sts, draw up a loop in next tr and in next sc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook-1 sc decreased; draw up a loop in next tr, holding back on hook the last loop of next tr, make a tr in next sc, thread over and draw through 3 remaining loops on hook-1 tr decreased; (place a marker over the dec set just made, work in pattern across next 18 sts, dec 1 sc and 1 tr over next 4 sts as before) 3 times; place a marker as before-8 sts decreased. Work 3 rnds even. Next rnd: Work in pattern decreasing 2 sts over each marker as before. Following rnd: Sc in each st around. Join and turn. Next 2 rnds: Ch 1, sc in the joining and in each sc around. Join. Break off and fasten at end of last rnd. Cut ribbon I inch longer than head size. Sew ends together, allowing 1\/2 inch for seam. Sew band along last rnd of hat and turn to inside to form a beret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ORNAMENT &#8230; Make 24 sc over 1 bone ring. Join to first sc, ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in next 4 ch (stem made); sl st in next sc on ring, ch 5, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in next 3 ch (another stem made); sl st in next sc on ring. Break off and fasten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ball (Make 2): Ch 2. 1st rnd: Make 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 2nd rnd: Make 2 sc in each sc around. Next 4 rnds: Work even. Following rnd: * (Dec 1 sc) twice; sc in next sc. Repeat from * once more. Next rnd: (Dec 1 sc) 3 times. Break off, leaving a 6-inch strand. Thread into a needle and sew ball to end of one stem. Sew ring to side of hat as shown, about I inch up from turned under edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work as for Hat until there are 108 sts on rnd. Work even until piece measures 6 inches from center. Turn at end of last rnd. Next rnd: Sc in each st around. Hereafter do not join rnds. Following rnd: Sc in each sc around. Repeat last rnd for 4 3\/4 inches. Break off and fasten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HANDLE . . . Ch 80 to measure 16 inches (5 ch to 1 inch). 1st rnd: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, making 3 sc in last ch-3-sc group made; working along opposite side of starting chain, sc in each ch across, ending with 2 sc in last ch. 2nd rnd: 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc to within next 3-sc group, 2 sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in each sc to within last 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc. Join to first sc. Break off and fasten. Cut ribbon 1\/2 inch longer than handle. Turn under 1\/4 inch at both ends and sew in place to wrong side of handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RING (Make 6) &#8230; Work 24 sc over 1 bone ring. Join and break off. Divide top edge of Bag in 6 equal parts and mark with pins. Sew one half of a ring to inside of Bag at each pin. Sew ends of Handle opposite each other, 1 inch down from top edge of Bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CORD &#8230; Make a chain, 32 inches long. Place a marker 4 inches from start and another marker 10 inches from start. 1st row: Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch to next pin; remove pin, ch 4, skip 4 ch for buttonhole, sl st in next ch and in each ch to next pin, remove pin, make another buttonhole and sl st in each remaining ch. Break off and fasten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leaving 4 inches free at beg of 1st row, make a 3-inch loop with next 6 inches of cord. Sew in place at one end of Handle. Sew button at same place. Draw Cord from back to front of each ring. Make 2 balls and sew one to each end of Cord. Place jug on table. Measure 4 1\/2 inches up from table along the side of the jug and mark with a pencil. Repeat this all around the jug and draw a line. Cut off top along the marked line. Insert the plastic base in Bag for a liner.
