{"id":934,"date":"2023-12-26T00:45:06","date_gmt":"2023-12-26T00:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crochetqueen.co\/?p=934"},"modified":"2023-12-26T00:45:06","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T00:45:06","slug":"green-chenille-purse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crochetqueen.co\/index.php\/2023\/12\/26\/green-chenille-purse\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Chenille Purse"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<img src=http:\/\/www.crochetqueen.co\/junk\/free\/jun20-07.jpg>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Chenille Purse<br>1 skein any color of Lion brand chenille yarn<br>small amount of size 10 thread for flowers<br>3 plastic pearls<br>size F or G hook<br>size 7 hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>using F or G hook<br>Ch 18, Dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in remaining stitches (17 dc) turn<br>Rnds 1 &#8211; 31 : ch 3 (counts as 1st dc) dc across, turn (17 dc)<br>Finish off (cut thread)<br>Fold piece up to 24th row, Pin evenly on each side.<br>Attach thread to bottom of right side, crocheting through both thicknesses, sc up side,<br>then sc around flap, sc through both thicknesses down other side. You should now have a purse<br>with a flap.<br>Purse Handle:<br>1st row: Attach thread to 1st row of dc, ch desired length , being careful not to twist<br>chain, attach with sl st to other side, ch 1 turn.<br>2nd row: sc around chain &#8220;handle&#8221; just made.
