Arm Warmers

I had a request to make up some arm warmers and I had no idea that these were even in fashion but here is my pattern. I used Lion Brand sportweight yarn, also I did not use a regular size crochet hook to join but you can if you want to. Materials: Size K double ended hook 2 oz sport weight yarn color A 2 oz sport weight yarn color B Gauge 2 inches = 9 stitches/7 1/2 rows Abbreviations PLO: Put loops on TLO: Take loops off

With color A ch 33, PLO. 33 loops on hook turn(this means push all the loops down to other end and get ready to use other color)

With color B, TLO ch 2(this is an increase) PLO (insert hook into 2nd ch from hook, pick up the 33 loops) total of 35 loops on hook, turn With color A, TLO & PLO turn With color B, TLO ch 2 PLO (insert hook into 2nd ch from hook, pick up the 35 loops) total of 37 loops on hook, turn

With color A, TLO & PLO turn, cut yarn leaving a tail With color B, TLO ch 40 PLO (insert hook into 2nd ch from hook and in next 39 ch, pick up the 37 loops) total of 77 loops on hook, turn

Attach color A, TLO & PLO turn *With color B TLO & PLO turn With color A TLO & PLO turn* Repeat from * to * 11 more times. With color B TLO & PLO turn

With color A TLO, Pick up next 36 loops. 37 loops on hook turn With color B TLO & PLO turn With color A TLO, Pick up next 34 loops. 35 loops on hook Fold piece , longest sides together.

You will be starting at the upper arm, slip stitch sides together being careful to match sides, until you have 12 stitches left. Slip stitch the next 5 stitch on ONE side, this creates the thumb hole, now hold the piece together again, skipping the 5 stitches on the other side, slip stitch the remaining 7 stitches. End off cut color B, weave in all ends. Repeat for other arm warmer. Pick some wild and crazy colors, would make a great gift for the hard to buy person. Have fun and as always if you have any questions please post in the forum or email me directly.
